Overseas members are requested, if possible, to pay using PayPal. For those without internet access, we can accept Sterling Cheques (but not currency) payable to 'The Beresford Family Society' and endorsed 'a/c payee'. Allow up to 10 days for delivery. Overseas orders are normally sent surface mail.PayPal enables buyers and businesses to send/receive money online. To use their services you need an e-mail address. If you are using PayPal for the first time, you simply open an account with PayPal, as described below. PayPal will then notify us when the funds reach our account.
1. Go online to www.paypal.com. Click on 'Open an Account'. You will be taken through the stages to give your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. You will be asked to nominate a few security questions and a password. Once the account is set up, proceed to next step.
2. Go to www.paypal.com and having completed the log-in, click on the tab 'Send Money'. In the box headed 'To', enter 'accounts@beresfordfamilysociety.org'. In the box headed 'Amount', insert the amount of money you wish to send, making sure the 'Currency' box below reads 'GBP-British Pounds'. Click on 'Continue' to view the converted amount.
3. Under the title 'Purchase', click on either the box headed 'goods' (for books, etc.), or 'services' (for subscription payments). After the words 'This money is being sent as a....*'. enter details of your payment, e.g.
*membership subscription, from....................................................................(name & address),
or
*membership renewal, from ....................................................................(name & address) BFS No ......,
or
*payment from ....................................................................(name & address) for books/goods ordered.
